Selena Marie Gomez, born July 22, 1992, began her acting career at the age of seven, playing Gianna on Barney and Friends. She had other minor roles, including movies such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire, and Brain Zapped. In 2008, she portrayed Mary Santiago in Another Cinderella Story and the mayor's daughter in Horton Hears A Who?

She appeared in Disney Channel sitcoms The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana where she portrayed the recurring role of Mikayla. In 2007, Selena began to portray Alex Russo on Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, which is in it's third season and has had one made-for-television film, with another in the works. It will continue to have a fourth season and a second movie.

Selena made her debut on the big screen this past July portraying Beatrice "Beezus" Quimby in Ramona and Beezus, based off the first three novels in the classic series by Beverly Cleary.

In 2009, she released Kiss & Tell, her first CD, with her band, The Scene. The second single, "Naturally", has been certified platinum, along with the CD certified gold. In September 2010, The Scene's sophomore album, A Year Without Rain, is set to be released. The first single "Round and Round" has been released.

At age 18, Selena has a full childhood career behind her, with a bright future ahead. Selena's Scene is proud to support her.

Back-to-Back New Wizards!

Guess what? I was wrong about any new Wizards episode on tonight, but I have great news.... Next Friday night there are two back-to-back brand new episodes on at 8/7c. I'm really excited for that, and honestly, it's better than one new episode this week and then another new episode next week. Why? Well, for me, personally, it's more fun to have an hour of new entertainment with a show I really love. Lol.

Anyways, be sure to tune in next Friday night at 8/7c to Disney Channel to see two new episodes and check out gallery for all the stills. :)

Brand New Layout

As you guys can see, we have a brand new layout! HQ, amazing, beautiful, gorgeous, and made by Ashley. I did the coding, and I'm still working on some stuff. I don't really like the navigation at the top, so I think I'll image map that part tomorrow, but I'm going to bed now, so it can wait. :)

There's a new episode of Wizards of Waverly Place either tomorrow or next Friday night on Disney Channel. I don't remember which, but I remember another April date, so be sure to check your TV guide and see. (I'd check myself, butttt I have basic cable.)

First of all. This is major. Major. Major news. Naturally went platinum!! Here's Selena thanking everyone. :D

"Naturally" went platinum!!!!!!!!! I cannot thank you all enough for all the love and support you truly have no idea how much you all mean to me. Thank You Thank You Thank You......... I just got settled into Budapest a couple of days ago and started my horse back riding lessons, very excited to start this movie and... Budapest is beautiful. For everyone overseas the album is coming out very soon but, you can preview the whole album at the link below.

There's a brand new Wizards on Friday, April 30. I don't have the official synopsis for it, but basically...

Alex's new friend, Stevie, poses a threat in Harper's eye to her friends with Alex, after discovering she is a wizard. Alex and Stevie ask Justin (as new student body president) to bring concerts to their lunch, then decide to take matters into their own hands when he brings them jazz bands, instead of the rock they want.

Selena had a MTV Music Session, where she performed The Way I Loved You and Tell Me Something I Don't Know. She sounds beautiful, but I think the music drowns her out somewhat in places.
