Selena Marie Gomez, born July 22, 1992, began her acting career at the age of seven, playing Gianna on Barney and Friends. She had other minor roles, including movies such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire, and Brain Zapped. In 2008, she portrayed Mary Santiago in Another Cinderella Story and the mayor's daughter in Horton Hears A Who?
She appeared in Disney Channel sitcoms The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana where she portrayed the recurring role of Mikayla.
In 2007, Selena began to portray Alex Russo on Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, which is in it's third season and has had one made-for-television film, with another in the works. It will continue to have a fourth season and a second movie.
Selena made her debut on the big screen this past July portraying Beatrice "Beezus" Quimby in Ramona and Beezus, based off the first three novels in the classic series by Beverly Cleary.
In 2009, she released Kiss & Tell, her first CD, with her band, The Scene. The second single, "Naturally", has been certified platinum, along with the CD certified gold. In September 2010, The Scene's sophomore album, A Year Without Rain, is set to be released. The first single "Round and Round" has been released.
At age 18, Selena has a full childhood career behind her, with a bright future ahead. Selena's Scene is proud to support her.

The Daily Mail photoshoot Selena did has had more releases. I'm not sure where they're from, but thanks to Samantha, I've added 21 HQ images to the gallery. Selena looks gorgeous in more pink picture with balloons and bubbles... and in a grey jumper.

You're probably thinking, 'Uh, oh.... are we about to hit a major drought?'. The answer is no. At least, I don't think so...
A Year Without Rain is the title of The Scene's sophomore album!!! It debuts in stores everywhere Tuesday, September 24th.
Thanks to Just Jared Jr for this information. They received it from UK Sugar Magazine, which Selena is on the cover for July 2010.
