Selena Gomez and her band the Scene dropped their debut album, Kiss & Tell, last week. And just like the title suggests, the album delves into personal territory — but that doesn't mean Gomez can take credit for all the songwriting. "I don't think I have to write every song to have it be personal," the Disney princess told MTV News. "The entire record, I can relate to each and every one of the songs, because I probably went through 110 songs to have on the record." Even though Gomez didn't pen all the songs, fans can rest assured that each tune has her seal of approval. "I wanted to make sure, A) I can relate to it, and B) My fans can relate to it and it's something that I went through," she explained. "And all of those songs are things that I went through, and that's why I put that all together." The album, which she has been working on for some time with writers like Fefe Dobson and Toby Gad, includes the first single "Falling Down." Gomez still can't believe her debut LP is finally out. "I went to Target the other day, and I saw my face on a CD, and that was the weirdest thing to me. I am so happy," she said. "I have been working on it for a good two years now, so for it to finally be out is this huge thing lifted off my chest, and it feels amazing. I hope my fans like it."
Oh! No, I think with us,that more just a game because they are girls.' Nick, 'Well.. [Everyone laughs] Selena's not a very good pitcher, but it's fine. Joe, 'She was on my team, she did a good job. I'm so proud of her!'
Joe, 'Nick's wild side comes out on stage, mostly. Or when he's competing, like in golf.' Nick, 'I become superhuman when it comes to competition. Joe, 'Not golf so much, but when you're playing, like, tennis or baseball.'
Nick, 'I've always been into wiffle ball, but any sort of sports, if I want to win, all of a sudden I can just do anything. At the Disney Channel Games, we wanted to win so I just started pushing this competition we had to do and it's just so fun. I'm competitive at everything in life. Anything I can win at.'
Joe, 'I'm very competitive, especially with my brothers. When it gets to it. I just want to win. Nick is definitely competitive. Kevin is the smartest for sure, he brings the smarts to the table. And I'm the one who gets their team pumped up. I get really competitive.'
