Selena Marie Gomez, born July 22, 1992, began her acting career at the age of seven, playing Gianna on Barney and Friends. She had other minor roles, including movies such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire, and Brain Zapped. In 2008, she portrayed Mary Santiago in Another Cinderella Story and the mayor's daughter in Horton Hears A Who?

She appeared in Disney Channel sitcoms The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody and Hannah Montana where she portrayed the recurring role of Mikayla. In 2007, Selena began to portray Alex Russo on Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, which is in it's third season and has had one made-for-television film, with another in the works. It will continue to have a fourth season and a second movie.

Selena made her debut on the big screen this past July portraying Beatrice "Beezus" Quimby in Ramona and Beezus, based off the first three novels in the classic series by Beverly Cleary.

In 2009, she released Kiss & Tell, her first CD, with her band, The Scene. The second single, "Naturally", has been certified platinum, along with the CD certified gold. In September 2010, The Scene's sophomore album, A Year Without Rain, is set to be released. The first single "Round and Round" has been released.

At age 18, Selena has a full childhood career behind her, with a bright future ahead. Selena's Scene is proud to support her.

The episode description has yet to be released, but in anticipation for the episode, Disney Channel has uploaded a new game called CREATURE CREATOR, in which you can upload your face and morph yourself into a wizard, vampire, werewolf, or mummy. It's a ton of fun, be sure to try it out!

Oh, this is so exciting! I love the sound of Fascination, I guess she fascinates them. :P -Also, I'm pretty sure that Naturally will be her debut single in the UK, instead of Falling Down. ;)

The 17-year-old singer/actress, who stars in Disney Channel TV series Wizards Of Waverly Place, joins a roster that includes Girls Aloud, The Saturdays and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Fellow Disney stars Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato also release on Fascination in the UK.

The label posted on its official Twitter feed: "Fresh for this year, welcome to the Fascination Family - Selena Gomez! More news soon!"

The US star, who records as the frontwoman of her own band, Selena Gomez & The Scene, released her debut album, Kiss & Tell, in the US this August. It debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200 albums chart and has since spawned the top 40 hit 'Naturally'.

Radio Disney's DJ's Ernie D. and Jake went live on Christmas Day at the 2009 Disney Parks Christmas Parade. I didn't get to tune in because it was Christmas and I spent it with my family, but Radio Disney uploaded some videos to their website, including Selena. You can watch them HERE. I hope everyone had a very lovely Christmas -- I got a Wizards of Waverly Place make-up set!
